She has worked in Tax accounting for last 9-years, including last 6-years with Big 4s, in New York City, prior to her relocation to the Seattle area.  Anita has helped private clients including REITs, and high net worth individuals with their Federal and State tax compliance and planning.  She has expertise in pass-through entities’ taxation, subchapter K reporting, and inbound/ outbound compliance.  In addition to financial institutions, she has assisted clients across small and medium business with their financial reporting and tax compliance.  Anita is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  She has also competed her Chartered Accountancy (CPA Equivalent), and M. Commerce from Gujarat University in India.  Outside work, Anita enjoys spending time with her 3-daughters, and cooking with her husband, who prides himself on being a Chef.  Anita is passionate about finding creative ways to strengthen women in the accounting profession – leveraging her experience of balancing work and home, being mother to 3 little girls, aged seven, four, and one.
